Cooking Time: Approximately 16-20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
2 lean pork loin chops (approximately 2-3cm
(¾" -1¼") thick)
METHOD
1. Place the chops under a preheated grill
and cook for 8-10 minutes on each side.
Serve the chops with a selection of roasted Mediterranean
vegetables (potatoes, red onion, leeks, peppers).
Alternatively:-
• Try topping the chop 3 –4
minutes before the end of cooking time with BBQ ketchup,
rasher of bacon and finely chopped spring onions.
• Spread apple sauce over the chop and top with Cheddar
or Wensleydale cheese 3-4 minutes before the end of cooking
time.
• Serve the pork chops on a bed of cheesy mashed potato
with steamed green cabbage.
• Try topping the chop with plum sauce and serve with
stir-fried vegetables mixed with plum sauce.
