Delivery Information
Once you have placed an order on our website you will receive a confirmation email from us.
Deliveries are usually made in 48 hours ensuring we have time to source fresh and produce the products to fulfill your order. (This is slightly longer when placing an order on Friday or over the weekend)
We have created the table below to show you when to expect your delivery from when the delivery is placed, with no specific delivery requirements requested.
Christmas 2024 Delivery Schedule
Please note that orders needed in time for Pre-Christmas delivery need to be placed by 3 pm on Thursday the 19th of December.
Any orders placed after this time will be delivered after Christmas and will not be able to be canceled or refunded.
Please ensure that there is someone to accept delivery during working hours, or a note is left of a safe place for the delivery driver to leave the box.
Delivery in our Local Area
If you live in the below post codes we will be able to offer a free delivery on all orders over £40.
Please note that local deliveries will be made by ourselves using our own refrigerated vehicles and will be in an non-insulated recylclable cardboard box.
Please ensure that someone is there to take delivery. However, if requested to leave safe the please ensure this is not be left for more than 30mins outside to maintain the temperature of the product.
Collections
Collections from our premises in Bristol (BS2 9XS) is available if required. Simply place a note on the order to specify this and we will contact you to discuss when your order will be ready for collection from us.
Please note that the goods that you have ordered are fresh produce and perishable. Therefore if no-one is there to accept the delivery, or a suitable place has been requested where the goods can be left, the courier will select a suitable place to leave the goods. The courier WILL not return the goods to the depot.
We accept no liability if delivery is not accepted due to the recipient not being available, if goods are stolen after being left safe, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of no-one being available to take delivery. It is therefore recommended that if no-one will be available, and that a suitable place is not indicated to leave the goods, that you send to a work address if possible.
We are not liable for any failure to deliver or for any loss/liability whatsoever arising from such failure when due to circumstance beyond our control.
John Sheppard Direct Guarantee: Claims for breakages, damaged or missing goods must be made within 24 hours of their receipt. Where a valid claim is determined we shall replace the goods which have been affected by this damage free of charge, or offer you a full refund for the damaged goods. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
